I've been working with Magicon Norway as a volunteer since 2021, when the event still was in the early stages of conception. My part in the crew has mostly consisted of marketing work in terms of content creation, graphical templates, infographics, managing ads, and more. From 2022 to 2024 I had the honour of leading the organization's Info crew, the department that focuses on marketing strategies to reach the target audience. Our main goal is to present information in a way that will peak people's interest and sell more tickets. We present information through various digital platforms, such as the event's website, social media, and app.
Primary target audience: 15-25 y/o who identifies as cosplayers.
Magicon Norway has an annual event each year at the end of June, and for each event there's a new visual branding. The organization operates with it's core identity for some parts, but most is done in the image of the new event theme.

Announcement templates for social media
For this year's event I was tasked with making templates for social media announcements. 
The scope: Create a template that can support different types of announcements (ex: guest, competition, activity, etc) while keeping the visual branding strong so it's easily recognisable to the target audience. 
The template was made with the visual branding for the upcoming event, so it's easy for the audience to differentiate it from previous years' content.
Utilising the instagram slide feature while keeping the chain elements from the brand identity connected from one slide to another, I managed to make bitesized square pictures that can be viewed as a full photo. This layout also suited facebook's format, where every post is being crossposted.
The template is designed in such a way that there's no limit to how many slides you can make, as some announcements require more photos presented. To make an "infinite loop", repeat the second and third slide after each other. See example under:
Using an interactive marketing strategy, we made a graphical template for instagram/facebook stories. The goal with this graphic is that visitors can share it to their own stories and add their planned costumes for the event. This in turn will make more people aware of the event, and create more interest.
Map infographics
For this year's event, Magicon is being held at a new venue; Oslo Konserthus. To make sure the visitors can find their way, I got tasked to re-design the map for the venue.
The scope: Design a new version of the Oslo Konserthus map with elements relating to the event Magicon Unchained. This map is to be optimised for digital platforms; App, website, and social media. The event also needs a visual guide of how to  get to the room in the basement.
Illustrations of the event's mascot has been used to highlight important areas on the map; The first-aid booth, the info booth, and the main stage. The illustrations also gives the graphics a playful and fun feel.
I made the map in the style of the brand's core identity, so that the map can be reused for later years. This will save a lot of time in the future.
