ACME Magazine
"A fictional magazine based on history related publications."
In this issue of ACME, the narrative is focused around the theme of mythology. The main article talks about myths from the Japanese religion Shinto, where we get an insight in how the world was created. In this magazine you can also read about the more darker side of mythology.
This magazine was made as a part of a school assignment where we had to pick a theme based around science or history, and then design a magazine based on that theme. Since i wanted the magazine to focus around the more darker side of mythology, i went for a dark colored background for most of the publication; the table of contents, the cover, and most article pages. The only place where we get a more lighter tone, is the introductory pages of the first article. This represents the creation of the religion, and is a lot less sinister than what comes after.
