FitTravel
"The process of planning, designing, and revising a fitness app for travelers."

Fitbit is a fictional app made for an assignment at Noroff University College. In the project brief I were told to create a fitness app with the target audience being people who travel a lot. To cater to these users, the app will be available on both mobile and tablet. In regards to exercise, the app had to help the user access workout routines that can be done in or without a gym, and give the opportunity to find nearby gyms, pools, or personal trainers. When designing we were given the Atlas UI kit with assets to use during designing, which would be done through InVision Studios.
Design Process
Following you will see a small summary consisting of pictures and other insights gained during this project. If you want to get deeper insight into my thoughts and decisions during this project, check out the progress documents:
Moodboard
I made a moodboard through Pinterest that would inspire features for the app, based on the requirements set by the brief. Click here to view the moodboard in it's entirety.
Site Map
Site map showing off the different pages the app contains.
User Flow
For the user flow I imagined a scenario where the user tries to look for a simple workout routine while traveling abroad and being on a busy schedule.
Paper wireframes
based on my findings I used the ideation technique sketch-storming to create design ideas for each section of the app.
High-fidelity digital designs
In the prototype phase I used InVision Studio and the Atlas UI kit to create high-fidelity versions of the paper wireframes chosen from the last section.
